Bit of a pause in posting—sorry about that, but we’re back with a terrific assortment of news, including the following:
- Eleanor Catton’s “The Rehearsal” (forthcoming in May) is longlisted for the Orange Prize and got a starred review in Booklist, which calls it a “dazzling debut”
- The great reviews for James Hynes’s “Next” are pouring in faster than we can post them, but this LA Times one is my favorite
- Publishers Weekly calls Frederick Reiken’s "Day for Night" an "imaginative and exciting read"
- Sherman Alexie, whose next novel will be published by Reagan Arthur Books in 2012, won the PEN/Faulkner Award for "War Dances"
