This in the form of Simon Rich’s hilarious and touching new story collection THE LAST GIRLFRIEND ON EARTH. Prepare to fall in love with Simon’s humor if you haven’t already.
Complete with a fabulous cover and adorably-sized packaging. Happy late 2012 and early 2013 holidays from RAB!
Simon Rich took part in Literary Death Match at Litquake. The reason he won is obvious. Hint: it’s because he is a hilarious web of talent.
Do you think Simon Rich sleeps? Perhaps he just curls up under his desk at Pixar for 20 seconds three times a day to stay on his game? I can’t imagine that he’s getting eight hours of shuteye a night while putting out as much wonderful writing as he is and holding down a full-time job.
Check out the latest piece in this week’s The New Yorker, “The Married Kama Sutra”. I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out it is going to be in a book we’re publishing in the future (with Farley Katz). I’d hate to be remiss.
And in case you’re the person who missed his wonderful Shouts & Murmurs (“Unprotected”) this summer, it’s online and you really need to read it. Oh yeah, that one is part of a collection, THE LAST GIRLFRIEND ON EARTH, that we’re publishing in January, which, if you’re counting, is five months after his last novel (What In God’s Name) came out. Slacker.
